Rafael Torosyan, M.D.
Dr. Rafael Torosyan is Board-Certified in nephrology and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree in 2013 from Wake Forest School of Medicine in North Carolina. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at the University of Kansas.
During his nephrology fellowship training, he was awarded an NIH T32 grant and did two years of research in nephrology. He has had several poster presentations including a poster at the American Society of Nephrology's annual meeting. Additionally, he has several manuscripts in progress for publication.
He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, and the American Medical Association.
In his clinical practice, Dr. Torosyan believes it is essential to care for each patient as a unique individual and is committed to providing compassionate care.
In his free time, Dr. Torosyan loves to spend time with his family and pets, travel, explore the outdoors, and stay active.
